The Edinburg Napier University will host the AtLAS Conference on 20 June 2022. The conference includes presentations and discussions of country-specific dual career models and a final pitch for upcoming international athlete entrepreneurs. Free registration is open now.
The event programme will be dedicated to 3 main topical parts. The first part will give a stage to European models of dual career. International experts provide compact insights into different national and regional approaches. The second part will deepen these views by zooming in to the dual career support scheme of athletes at the Edinburgh Napier University. The final part will present the AtLAS programme including a business pitch of international high-performance athletes.
Athlete entrepreneurs pitch
Prior to the AtlAS Conference, 150 athletes from all over Europe and beyond attended a post-secondary training course on entrepreneurship. Included in the training was a business pitch in the six project partner countries. Their elected national winners were awarded a travel to Edinburgh where they have the opportunity to present their business idea to an international audience.
